Comments on Mulan and other stuff

Bah weep Graaaaagnah wheep ni ni bong everyone!

Hey anyway, I got God of War: Chains of Olympus. Yeah its M18 but I'm more for the gameplay of course. And yes, I skipped the *@$*&@#*(!#)&*@#( scene. I saw the women but I didn't (@$()*)*)@*!$_!$*(#)&$)!&$. I'm not such a simple character.

And I started watching the Anime Monster. About some real cool stuff. But so far the anime's pretty slow. I'm on ep 24 now. It's got 74 episodes. So long...

Well my Fairy Tales DMP is cool. I just keep watching movies. We've watched Shrek, Shrek 2, Shrek 3 and Mulan.

After watching Mulan today, I feel that the movie's pretty dumb. It's like:

1. They're all Americans. Doesn't feel authentic at all. Hate the dialogue.

2. How do you get up a pillar with just anything that can wrap around something?

3. If there's such a precarious piece of ice, why didn't all the noise and vibrations the army made cause the avalanche? Did Mulan really need to shoot a rocket at it?

4. The ending. 10 guys survived an avalanche and expected to take over a whole city and eventually all of China. Real smart...

5. Mulan got a reward. She got the crest of the emperor. Doesn't that mean that she can go around posing as the emperor since almost no one's ever seen him before and the only ID you'll need is that crest?

6. The way Mulan's father was portrayed makes it look like all Chinese are stubborn guys who are like the Japanese during the wartime and would want to die for their country and all that for the emperor and stuff. OK there were more instances of this but I can't exactly remember. This movie's prejudiced.

7. Mushu helped to kill the guys. But isn't Mulan supposed to be the hero not her dragon? It's so unrealistic and it's supposed to be based on history...

8. I do not really like this movie...

Anyway, after all this time, I realised how nice Shrek was. I'm thinking that even though Shrek 3 was actually the funniest, it got the worst reviews. Well I guess it's because it's not really suited for kids. But I can also think of it in this way:

THE VIEWERS OF THE OLD SHREK MOVIES GREW UP.

Yeah that's a better way to look at it. It's why Teletubbies was cancelled.
